For her second album, INSOMNIA, pianist Manon Mullener offers a 5tet project. She is accompanied by a team of young musicians brimming with creativity from the Swiss scene.
With Insomnia, we witness all the diversity that jazz has to offer. With influences ranging from jazz to Latin, Manon takes us on a journey through her universe, for a colorful and fresh result!
These musical explorations are driven by Manon’s trademark: boundless energy and a groove that never fails. This 5tet is sure to have you dreaming and the shyest of you dancing!
Since the album’s release in 2023, this 5tet has toured Europe and America, playing some fifty concerts. In 2024, the project was selected by the prestigious Jazz à Vienne festival in France to represent Switzerland at the festival. The same year, her project received creative support from the Franco-Swiss festival JazzContreband.
They are currently working on their next album, scheduled for release in 2025.
